The wait is finally over. Akomapa Health's University of Ghana Community Health Hub is officially open.
Students from the University of Ghana across all campuses are invited to apply for the General Training Programme and join this impactful healthcare initiative.
The hub brings community-based non-communicable disease screening, preventive care, education, and supervised student learning into the Greater Accra Region through partnership with the University of Ghana and local health partners.
The launch creates a strong service-learning setting where care delivery and student development can happen in the same environment.
That model aligns with Akomapa's broader strategy: place access points in trusted institutions where people can engage regularly, not only during emergencies.
Ready to serve, learn, and make a difference? Visit the UG Community Health Hub page to apply for the General Training Programme.
As shared in the update, this hub is one step in a larger effort to expand practical, local pathways to early intervention and ethical leadership.
